i have problems identifinying my males or females fish.....n cn my oranda n black moor mate??

I'll tell you a few things to get you started but you need to go and get a good goldfish book
if you look down on the backs of your goldfish you should see that the males are more slender, females have 1 ovary on the right side and you should see a bulge there
all goldfish will crossbreed but you will end up with some really UGLY mutts
goldfish spawn in the spring when the water warms up, if yours are in the house I would keep them in unheated aquariums then
they will warm up naturally
