Or have most Democrats moved the party too far to the left by kicking Liberman out of the party?

I hope so, we need to restore some checks and balances to the government, this one party rule isn't working very well.

Lieberman supported, and still supports this debacle called a war when it is just a way for bush to make more money and cause more problem with the rest of the world. Republicans do the same thing. Take a look at McCain. Why wasn't he elected as representative for the Republican party instead of bush? McCain gave them, in my opinion, a landslide victory. Right now, I'd rather have him run the government instead of the current moron. At least he has some common sense...

Anyway, Democrats will take over Congress this year, and that will place bush behind the 8-ball...

Yes. They'll take over the Congress this year. Americans are tired of the terrible job the Republicans are doing. Time for a change.

The Democrats will take over congress this year. As Cheney said about Iraq - the same is true for Republicans; they're in the final throes.

As if Lieberman was some sort of raging liberal.

Our only hope of ending this country's downward spiral at the hands of wubya's regime is for the Dems to, at least, gain one of the congressional houses and show some backbone in the face of pure unadulterated greed and arrogance.

you do know that Con. is just one small state (very liberal)... and not all Dems voted lieberman out... right?

it's like McCain running in Texas and not getting elected... wow, big surprise...

it doesn't really mean much of anything nationally...

but I expect it to be VERY close in the congress races... maybe not taking over, but like one vote margin... either way it goes
