It's not stupid because it's fake...I won't call them stupid, more ignorant...one of the things I love most about wrestling is a good well choreographed match in the ring between a couple of equally talented performers...is that any different than watching two great actors in a scene? All they've done is added some athleticism to the mix (and if you don't have any ability, you're not going to last long in the business)...it's one of the few things left different enough (especially the WWE blend), combining the ring work, the occasionally stupid (but occasionally great) storylines, sex...violence...laughs...if that's stupid, then so is nearly everything else on TV...if you don't like it, fine, don't watch it...but don't put down everyone else who does, and knows exactly what they are watching...even the fans who take it all seriously...it's because we love it...those that say we're stupid just don't get it...they need to get their heads out of the sand and just let it be...

Thats the problem. In the last 4 hours and 20 minutes of Monday night raw shows, there has been a total of 43 minutes of wrestling.

McMahon is a joke. To see a 60 year old egomaniac dominating the air waves instead of letting people wrestle is a bit much.

WWE is stupid. I watch TNA or ECW at times. The original ECW blew away any of the wrestling promotions.

I think you have a point. Long time ago, Professional wrestling tried to make it as a real sport. Well, it wasn't real, and people who watched the WWF was stupid for believing they are real.
There were radio show few months ago, Curt Angle was on it. He was talking about how the stories are written and how they hire writers and all. Since WWE call them a "Sport entertainment" and let people know what they are doing, I don't think it's stupid. Fact is, it's a billion dollar business that trade in New York Stock Exchange. I don't think anybody can say that is stupid. You are right on this too. They are fake, but some of their moves are amazing.

People have their opinions and nothing will change that. Its only stupid if they say that to look cool in front of someone else. So what if its not sophisticated. I like it so I watch it. If you dont like it, F**k you, go back to watching friends or frazier or nightline or whatever boring s**t that entertains you debutaunts. Ive seen it live, watched it on tv with my dad since I was 5 so it has become part of life. Long live the Fake s**t!!!!!!

You have a point there-lots of stuff is just made up. If Shakespeare was around today people would be asking him if he's actually been to Denmark and Italy.
