The best mobile plan for teens is Sprints fair and Flexible plan with unlimited talking after 6pm.
It unrealistic for a teen to wait until 9 to do lots of talking, Its not unrealistic for a teen to wait until 6. Do you really want to wait until 9 to do lots of talking?
Also if you go over your minutes, your not going to be charged 50 cents a minute but like ten cents a minute. This will make your parents happy, as they will have to sign the contract for you.

Check the coverage in your area first. Cingular has its pro's and con's. Rollover is a really great idea with the family plans. What you don't use keeps getting rolled over for 1 year. Con's if you live in remote areas, most likely you won't get GSM coverage. Sprint Nextel has family plans in which you get charged depending on the range of mins you use. Nextel side of sprint has free incoming which might come in handy. Verizon is kind of slacking in family plans. For more info check www.phonescoop.com or www.howardforums.com these are dedicated mobile phone forums.

Well it depends what you want. T-Mobile, has the best pay-as-you-go phones, so that might work out for you. Unless you want a number of minutes. If you do, I'd recommend Cingular, then Verizon. But it also depends if you want to text message. I have an Verizon, and I have unlimited IN text messaging ($10 a month). Verizon does have the most people, so if you want to text friends who have Verizon, then I'd recommend Verizon. As for the best phones, I'd recommend Verizon, because quite frankly, all their phones rock!

What network are all your friends (and family) on? You want something that won't charge you airtime for in-network calling. Verizon's good for that. Sprint & nextel offer mobile to mobile ($5/month) for unlimited Sprint/Nextel calling. Sprint fair & flexible starts nights & weekends at 7 PM. Fair & flexible also charges only $5.00 per 50 minute block of overage . So if you use 50minutes, the charge is $5.00, if you use 98 minutes over the charge would be $24.20 ($5.00 for the first 50, plus $0.40 x 48 for the remainder - and the charge for 100 minutes over would be $10.00 - neat trick, huh). Nextel allows you to choose (for a monthly fee) if you'd like your free incoming rate plan to start nights & weekends at 6PM or 7 PM (otherwise they will start at 9PM. READ THE FINE PRINT & make sure you ask for the precise terms of the trial period so you don't get stuck with something you don't want or can't afford.

I personally like T-mobile. I've had it for awhile. I get good reception. I had the ToGo plan. I was really easy to pay for. There is another plan that is $29.99 a month. You get 300 minutes. I hope any of this info helped. Good Luck shopping!!!!
