layering is the best way to get a unique and stylish look, but i definitely understand that it can be a hard-to-perfect look.
for starters, layer with light-weight, slim-fitting clothes. too many bulky layers will leave you looking much heavier than you are.
you can layer with different prints - but be careful. if you want to be daring, try to stick with prints that have similar colors in them or prints that are so basic that they give the appearance of a solid (example: glen plaid).
and don't forget - layering doesn't have to just be with clothes! try layering a few necklaces or wearing waist-cinching belts over flowy dresses or tunics. bangles also look great stacked together, and they look cool worn over long sleeves. have fun!

It fairly relies upon on many factors like the air temperature and how properly you adjust your body temperature. i take advantage of a cotton lower than layer of a t blouse, and cotton fishnet lengthy johns. This has worked for me for years because I positioned on a water repellent outer layer and the cotton will take up only adequate body moisture to save me from overheating too quick. Cotton does get chilly at the same time as that is moist, yet I seem quite gentle all the way down to fifteen F with this set up and that i do stay dry. Any chillier and that i upload a down vest and some hand heaters. save your ears lined. The wind breaker/ nylon blouse should be between the outer layers, also gown in layers you may fairly shed if too warmth.

I am definatly into the layering this season and for like the last 4 i think its great. most of what i layer with i get from wet seal. The key to layering is that your bottom layers fit against your body and your outerlayers are larger. a typical layering look for fall to me latly would be a cami and maybe a lace cami over that and a sweater. or for a cooler look i buy tanks that are cut differently, they might both be scoop necks but one is taller and maybe a solid while the lower cut one would have a pattern like big strips or maybe some little flowers. i really like thermal textures right now also because they are kind of sheer but you can wear them over another shirt and really bring out some great color combinations.

go for "gift-wrapped", not "bag lady"! make sure that you start off with a basic shirt or top, something that's preferably flat texture-wise and then build on that with a textured or printed piece.
pick clothes that are not bulky-looking. on the runways, grunge is really in but if you want to look more refined in real life, you can always throw in a chunky scarf or a cap. also, think about wearing colored leggings or tights! awesome for layering.
don't forget about jewelry! a simple gold necklace on top of your outfit does the trick.

The best look in layering is to wear a long shirt, such as a tank top, with a cropped jacket or sweater over the top
