You need to learn the metric system:
K = Kilo- = 1000
M = Mega- = 1000000
G = Giga- = 1000000000
so 1 GigaHertz = 1000 MegaHertz = 1000000KiloHertz.
The first PC came with a 2KHz processor, from memory.
Today, new PCs come with 2GHz processors, = 2000000KHz - quite an improvement......
(Don't they teach basic maths at school any more?).

The fastest computers available to the public at this moment have a speed of 3.8 ghz.
The fastest computer in the world at this moment is IBM's BlueGene/L, which is a supercomputer encompasses an entire room and interconnects approximately 136,000 CPUs. It runs at a speed of 360 teraflops, which is approximately 11,520,000 ghz.

first, there is no 200 ghz, the faster is just a little over 3 ghz, 500 mhz is .5 ghz, do the math

First, Mgh should b Mhz (Mega Hz) = 1,000,000 hz.
As for Ghz (Giga Hz) = 1,000,000,000 hz. That is 1000 Mhz.

if there are 200 ghz it would be = 200*1000 = 200000 mhz
so 200ghz is faster than 500mhz

well until now the maximum proccesor I have heard is pentium D with 800 Mhz.If you compare 500Mhz and 200Ghz therefore is 200Ghz.Giga is bigger than Mega.

i agree with butchell their is no processor with 200ghz...
200ghz = 200 000 mhz
then diffinitely 200ghz is much faster than 500mhz..
