Is it because of president Bush being the president the last couple of years that has given the U.S. such a bad profile around the world, or they plain and simply don't like americans?
and how can you re elect such a guy for another 4 yrs. i think it's plain and simple America was afraid of CHANGE.

No they don't hate America at all. When in the middle east talked with allot of them and they don't hate us since we watch there backs. People will never understand how things work as Americans we hate each other race and all. So there is hate in America and that's what bring the hate from other places. But then again if you give freedom to the Americans they will take it and run with it. The Brits have to be in the military for at least for years once they turn 18 and we don't have to do that. Men and Women like myself join to make the US what it is ****. If you think about it everyone say BUSH this that and when we got hit on Sept 11 USA was saying Kill them find them do this do that and then turn there backs and say that's wrong. The Reason is the Dumb Americans that are hated for changing there mind like a billion times.

Hate is probably too strong a word but some Americans as individuals and the US Gov in particular sometimes send out some very strange signals which certainly cause people to ask what is it we are thinking exactly!
The Europeans I know dislike one thing in particular and that is the tirade of illogical abuse that comes after questioning some US government policy or decision. The 'Old Europe' jibe was totally unnecessary and knee-jerk ... and turned a lot of people away just on principle.
Americans could do more to find out about countries beyond their borders and Europeans could be more welcoming sometimes.

Hi,
I am a german citizen, who is right now living in the US. I spend my summer break in germany, and I can assure you, that Europeans don't hate Americans. Okay, they might not aggree with Bushs decisions, but they do not simply hate all Ãmericans. I think, especially a lot of Germans, are really differinciated, because of our history.

ok first of all americans are only disliked because the image is that portrayed is that they are lazy and ignorant about global affairs, and president bush is a good leader because he makes decisions and doesn't backout or backup, everyone who criticizes him should try to envision what it would be like to be in his shoes its not an easy job

bush takes and gives funds to help ppl when in need but we have gotten a bad rep off him too
