There are some sites that I have visited and do not want them listed on my computer. Is there any way of deleting them and will they always show up that I have viewed them... even years from now?

~~if you delete your history they should not show at all~~

download the advanced browser, it is faster than internet explorer and it makes deleting cookies, cache, temp internet files, history, etc... so easily in the tools there is a choice for delete all... and it cleans up all the unnecessary little traces that the internet leaves behind. you can even set it up in the advanced browser options to automatically clear things when you close the browser.... to close the browser completely though you need to right click on the icon in the taskbar (by the clock) and choose exit. you can choose to exit all or to exit and save pages that are open so that when you re open your browser those pages will open also. another advantage is you can set more than one home page if you have more than one site that you go to on a regular basis. (the browser is free)~~

Go to control panel
Click internet options
Click content tab
Click auto complete
Uncheck web address and click clear forms

A little internet options box will come up that says "clear all previously saved entries except passwords".

Click ok
Then click ok on the AutoComplete settings box
Then click ok on the Internet Properties box
Then close the Control Panel

All of that is if you were talking about your Web Bar History.

Type CCleaner, it's free and removes all that sort of stuff. Uncheck the "cookies" box if you want to keep them.

WindowWasher, or some other program. There are several dozen history cleaners out there.
