If your computer's IP address was 10.1.1.1, then you would do this from the remote computer:

start
run
\\10.1.1.1\c$

You will need to authenticate yourself onto your PC one way or another (Users and Groups or share permissions).

Also, not all IP addresses are visible to each other - it will depend on what kind of networks lie between the two PCs.

One of the best solutions is http://www.gotomypc.com It's pricey, but very easy, awesome solution. Alternatively, you can you pcAnywhere host/client version.
