i just started my period yesterday and the blood is really dark for soem reason, darker than usual. is this something to worry about or will it just gradually get lighter like every other time..? thankss

Totally normal. Blood is naturally dull in the body and not bright red like some people think until it comes into contact with oxygen. During a period, as well as blood, you expell uterine tissue, mucus and sometimes clotted blood, which also affects the colour, so what you are passing is completely ordinary.

Yes it is normal. You may also have large clots. When you keep having a period for more than 9 or 10 days, I would call a doctor.

is normal.......during period days....stop drinking cold water.....
If the blood still dark after 3 days, mean your virginity are slight dirt cause those blood stain stay at the wall. Drink more alkaline water with anti-oxidant and active hydrogen.

it's probably just darker because it's thick. Be prepaired for cramps!

thats normal don't worry..sometimes if it is darker..it is also thicker...sometimes you might have more cramping as well when it is darker...or clotting....
if you are concerned..you can call your doctor....

well if its normally like that then you should be fine...if its not and it doesnt lighten, go to the doctor
