good question.......makes me realize how much of a rut I've been in the last several years...........years ago coming back home from Europe and seeing everyone again.

My kids always make me happy every day with different things they do and say, but I can't remember the last time I was truly happy, through and through. Maybe never. Well, one time I rented an isolated cottage for two weeks. being all alone was nice, but what made me deliciously happy was the fact that I had unplugged the phone so when I got back to town everyone was furious because they couldn't phone me to stress me out (this was before I was married).

Truthfully? 24 summers ago on the John Muir Trail in the High Sierras in California. I was with one adult leader and 23 other high school students. I could be myself because the oppressive forces of my family, the community I lived in, the social class I was in, and modern civilization, were far, far away. I was in the wilderness far away from those things and had a lot of fun being a comic showman around my peers.
Since then, my life has been one long tale of fighting all the above listed oppressive forces. Not much fun.

When I graduated nursing school...also when I realized I had maximized the ability to control my man, thank god for all the psych classes! I can finally get him to stop his bitching and take out the damn garbage!

Today, when my boyfriend came over. We sat on the couch and watched TV while I rested my head on his chest. It was nice. He's such a sweetie.

Kissing my sweet Wonderful Grand-baby goodnight on her cheek and then kissing my Daughter as she hugged me and told me bye and that she loved me, for the night.
