That happens two times a year. The days are called the Spring and Fall Equinox.
Night and day will be approximately equal length all over the earth and occurring about March 21 (the spring or vernal equinox) and September 22 (autumnal equinox).

Mahgri is correct. I would add that the actual names of these dates are the Vernal Equinox (spring) and the Autumnal Equinox (fall).

it would happen on two days.
on the summer solstice, seward has about a 19 hour day. on the winter solstice, it has a 5 hour day. orlando has 14 and 10 hour days on the corresponding two days.
at some point, the days must criss cross as the days shorten and lengthen. i didnt look up the exact days, but one would be in the spring, and one in the fall
