All I can think of is FIRST HUSBAND

Trouble with that is that is sounds as though she's had a few (husbands that is, not drinks).

To borrow from British Royalty he could be "President Consort".

It would be funny to call him First Gentleman but that's probably the best there is. Let's hope we get to find out!

We would call him by his title that he has now, President William Jefferson Clinton, Mr. President or Former President Bill Clinton. If any other female is elected president her husband would be refereed as first gentleman as other husbands of female presidents are called in other countries that have or had female presidents.
Jose Miguel Tuason Arroyo husband of Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is referred to as the first gentleman. If Hilliary is elected president then the first lady title and function would probably go to Chelsea.

The "technical" term IS "the first Gentleman" or "the husband of the President of the United States of America."

In America presumably because they miss the imperial honours system call a person by the title of their highest position which in this case is Mr President

First Gentleman would be appropreate, or former president Clinton, or if you know him you could just call him Bill. He is that kind of fellow.
