i want to adopt a child who is related to my husband and is in the system , what can i do? tried working with the worker but she gives me no hope!

Is the child in foster care? We adopted my husband's sister's son. Usually they will place a child with family before they put them in foster care. If you need to become a foster parent before you can get the child sign up for foster parenting. Good luck

Where I live we have an agency called Child & Family Services....used to be called Childrens Aid. These places help with anything related to adoption. Maybe look into that?

Try the yellow pages under adoption and maybe you will get direction from someone who knows the system.
