It's not fake but it might as well be. Basically the iPod will be free, but they would want you to complete a bunch of sponsor offers before you get anything.
This includes things like Blockbuster on-line or Columbia music or something like that.

I've heard that they really will, but you have to sign up for credit cards and those CD clubs where you have to buy a certain number of CDs from them a month and a bunch of other deals. It probably isn't worth it.
