of course race has to do with it, and sex also has to do with it. Why haven't we had any female black president? or any other race other than white, spanish, or european.

College admission works the same way, if there's an asian and african american competiting for a spot, then i would think they most likely would admit the african american, even if they both qualify for the school.

To clean my house or my nails. JK
I would not have a rather. Whoever had the most wonderful personality would be ideal since they have the same qualifications.

I worked in a Factory for a while, in the automotive industry, and I have to say, If I was in the position of hiring, I would hire the Asian woman.

These woman work their buttes off, and don't waste time.
I watched this day after day, and it was the American person that did not show there initiative (in some cases) to their performance of the job.

I would hire the one who interviewed better, or had better qualifications. I would not decide on the country of origin. However, if the Asian just moved here, I'd check to make sure he or she has a valid work visa. If it's an Asian-American, then what I said first applies, even if they originally weren't American citizens, but are now.

I would hire the one who knows about the job that they are posting for and who speaks English. If the Asian spoke good English. they would be hired just as well as any nationality. Although I have worked with many Asians I find that alot of their language is spoken when it is not allowed and they totally disregard management rules in the work place.USA is English first then your choice of any language.

It's ILLEGAL for an employer to hire based on Race or Sex. Of course people do it, but not openly, as it is against the law to discriminate based on these factors. The only LEGAL factor is the ability to do the job well.

If you're looking for the creative entrepreneur type, I'd hire an American. If you need a person who cleanly executes your clear ideas and commands but who's not very creative, I'd hire an Asian, particularly a Chinese

Obviously, I would hire whomever was most qualified for the job. If they were both equally qualified, I guess I'd go with the one who had the better resume and references.

It doesn't matter what race the person is, if they both qualify for the job equally, I would definitly pick the person who I think I would get along with best, and who I think their co-workers would also like. Jus someone with a nice personality :)
