Explain to him about the Right Of Conquest, which basically means to the victor goes the spoils. His people might have been here first but they couldn't hold onto what they had, therefore your house is yours, not his.

Dude fight it. New research is showing that there was another race here before American Indians. The American Indians killed them off. I am part Native American, and i could care less if you live on some land. That was the past.

Is this a real question???? Unless he has bought and paid for your house and his name is on the title or deed he needs to find his own property to purchase. Does you daughter sit back and let him act like this? I pity both of you. All people need to leave the crap of the past in the past and stop looking for a free handout because of their ancestry. Have a good night!

You have legal title to your home. End of story. You have absolutely no reason to passively give in. Legally, he has no recourse and a judge would laugh him out of court.

There's a general feeling in some people that if they can trace their ancestry back to some sort of persecution in the past, that persecution entitles them to something in the present.
The reality is that you are older (I assume) than your son-in-law, so in fact YOU were here first, regardless of whose great-great grandfather was here first.
I would tell him to stop living 500 years ago and do something constructive like buy his own house.

Do you even have to ask! Do Not give up your house. Tell your son in-law to take his grievances to the Indian affairs council and not to bother you with his nonsense.

the natives was here first but and i understand the idea of how the land was taken away, but you cant just go and take away someone Else's house..i think i would try and work it out, or wonder why he was so angry..i know natives have been mistreated for years but you cant just randomly take out your ancestors pain. You have to show people that you are a responsible, loving person, and most importantly its better to have peace in the family rather then bickering..

You are joking, right? My grandfather was an American Indian and I don't go around claiming things. Tell him if he thinks it should be his to hire a lawyer. That is a bunch of BS.

If you're even entertaining such a ridiculous claim, you are a politically correct douchebag. You deserve to lose your house, and the rest of your money should go to the decendents of slaves for reparations! Sheeeeeiiiittt! Tell me you're joking...I hope people this stupid don't really exist!!!!!!!
