Yes, they are "seconds." However, that is a good way to save money. Perhaps they don't like you to shop there because you may look cheap (sometimes fun, but not a look you want all the time)...I mean cheap in the skanky sense, not the financial. Or maybe they are the type of clothes made in sweat shops.....Mind you, I don't know. I don't shot there.
Oh, and I am a parent and I don't let my kids shop there because they are boys.....Not that they've asked to....ha ha.

I shop there with my kids are the time. We were just in there last night. In fact, my daughter found their bags make the best book covers and they look cool.

Um, My daughter and I shop there all the time. It's one of our favorite stores. Maybe they are old fashioned about things.

because theyre lame and over priced, if you want to dress in such a 'unfashion' do it like the rest of us did before the uniform stores came out,, go to the thrift stores and grow alittle creativity.

I'm not a parent, I'm a kid, I'll tell you why. Contrary to what the name would have you believe, the topics of interest in that store are certainly not "hot" they are outdated. Outcasts and misfits shop at that store. Most parents don't like black latex, spikes, army boots and nose piercings, but if I ever see my son wearing a "Chuck Norris" T-shirt I will beat his ***.

i don't let my kids shop there because I don't want them to look like trendy nerds. by the time hot topic is hip to something, it's already over. i want my kids to look back at their yearbooks and not have terrible memories of being the kids that were trying so hard to be someone else they forgot to be themselves. don't buy into the american consumer mentality. if punk rock was against anything it was against hot topic...remember "anarchy for sale"??
a concerned o.g. punk rocker

i think because some of the products are vulgar and have graphics that kids cannot waer to school...probably...i love hot topic and i buy alot of my daughters clothes there...but there are some clothes in there that are just too much...parents worry alot...you will understand when you have kids of your own
