I am a physician working for a group. The head of the group does not let me see what was billed to or paid by medicare for my services. How do I find out what was billed under my medicare number last year?

Ask to see all your EOBs or Explanation of Benefits which Medicare sends to your office. That will tell everything in exquisitely nauseating detail.

Medicare should have been sending you statements of what went where. All you have to do is call Medicare and they can tell you or they can send you a copy. The copy comes from someone else, the actual company that pays their portion.

first of all , contact medicare and let them know that you want a detailed list of the services that have been billed under your name, and they should supply that to you at no cost, and it is faxable, so you can get it fast....don't rely on others to be able to ease your mind, be pro acitve, and call yourself....the head of the group will never even know.
