They call at all hours! Should we just hang up on them?

teach your sons to respect themselves as they can be used as a piece of meat also. Also put the phone on silent after a certain hour so you aren't disturbed. tell those boys to not give out the home # and if they do to let the girls know the curfew time.
Also, you know what the girls are thinking and we hope your boys don't fall for it......grandma.

I don't you should be handling it at all. You should tell your son's that their friends can call between this hour and that hour. If calls come in later, tell your son's they are not to touch the phone and you answer it and tell the caller that your son is not available for phone calls at that hour. Do that a couple of times and your sons will have the problem fixed.
The girls aren't thinking, but just like your son's, their parents aren't taking control of them.

Get an answering machine. Let your sons know your rules regarding dating and giving out their home phone numbers. If they call late at night remind them of the time and tell them not to call, if your sons want to call them they will.
Remember hanging up on them won't work. Girls at the age can be immature and it may provoke them to crank call at all hours.
You could also leave a message on the machine that phone calls after what ever time you decide will be deleted.

Make it clear that you have calling times. Say, no calls after 9 PM. Take the phone off the hook after that. Next, have a frank talk w/ the boys about girls (ie: sex and protection and std's, etc) You don't want any surprises. Finally, leave the boys alone to make their own choices. They will also have to kiss alot of toads first... Teach them then trust them and let them be boys.

Well tell them not to call past nine and if they do they won't be able to talk other than that your kids are old enough for girls and well should worry if it was boys only at that age
