She was crying i gave them to her and with in 3 mins she was soothed and ready for her nap.
They dissolve the minute you put them in their mouths and totally safe. You can by them in any store, walmart, target, grocery stores.

I work for a pediatrician and know that if your daughter weighs more than 5 lbs. it is safe to give her 0.4ml of tylenol/acetaminophen. However, only do it until you can get her to the doctor. Many ear infection symptoms/sinus infection symptoms are the same as teething. You need to have that checked out. If it is truely gum pain than a clean wash cloth run under cold water works well with my daughter.

Okay for one 2 months old for teething is not uncommon. Give her orjel and a cold wash cloth so she can suck on it. Anything cold will help her cut teeth faster. I also gave my son mortin but not all the time. Just remember you can let them cry, scream, or anything else they do for 10-15 mins by then they want to be picked up by you and held and then they are fine.

Check out this website...colicease.com, it's an all natural herbal supplement you can add to water/formula or give plain. It's called GRIPE WATER, it's been used for centuries in Eroupe and Canada and other places but is not so common in the US, however you can get it in some natural foods stores. It's good for teething, colic, hiccups, gas, etc...the website is very informative, I just ordered some the other day for my lil man who has some serious gas!! I hope this helps, everyone I know swears by it...

A clean baby washcloth slightly damp for her to suck on.
There is orajel (numbs gums) I would not recommend it.
It can numb the back of the throat and they can choke. So be warned. There are teething tablets my friend swore by.
Available at Walmart and health food stores. Teething rings work
great. Our daughter hated them cold loved them at room temperature.
Good luck!

Get a teething ring and put it in the fridge or freeze (if the freezer not too long) make sure it is nice and cold and give it to her. Also get some bonjela cream and rub it on her gums, the cold teething ring works better!
There are may ways to soothe sore gums in babies, talk to your nurse and she can give you some home remedies.

I believe there is something called humphyres (not sure of the spelling). It is suppose to be all natural.
It might be that she is trying to develop her motor skills too... I thought my baby started teething around that time because he would DROOL all over the place and put anything and everything in his mouth.. But his doctor said that he didn't find any teeth so it was just his way of developing his motor skills

my 7 month old has been "teething" since he was 4 months old... I didn't like giving him tylenol (.4ml) everytime time he was really fussy because I wasn't always sure if he was really hurting or just going through fussy periods, and he didn't really like the orijel, so I just started giving him a cold wet washcloth and that seems to help alot. The water isn't going to hurt him and it helps weither his gums are bothering him or hes just fussy.
