First of all, nail polish remover will not remove acrylic nails.
Buy pure acetone. Pour some in a GLASS bowl. If your acrylics have a gel overlay then be sure to file the nails first to break the seal of the gel. If you don't do this, no amount of soaking will touch the acrylic. Do one hand at a time. Soak the nails for about 20 minutes. Using an orangewood stick, scrape the softened acrylic from the nail. DO NOT remove the nails from the acetone. Doing so will only cause it to set up again. Soak some more and scrape some more until all the product is off the nail.
It will take time but this is the best way to remove the acrylics without huring your natural nail.

First cut the nail tips off and then cut lengthwise with the clippers near the tip...soak in warm water and they should peel off easier. The tops of your nails will most likely be damaged and will take some time to grow out. Keep your own nails clipped short in the meantime and keep a good clear protective coat as the nails will be weak. Good luck.

Use Acetone nail polish remover, not Non-acetone, soak them in a small dish. This melts the acrylic much quicker. Try not to pry as you will peel layers of your real nails. Good luck!

clip the nails so it could be short near the endline of your nail, so there will be less pain when you're about to peel them off (trust me!) now, i say soak them in the nail polish remover first for about 10 minutes or more (not too long) than have a hot bowl of water ready for you to dip it in next to sooth and make the nails easier to peel off. and when you're about to peel them, i suggest you peel them from the sides,NOT the bottom or top(which is the worst) your nails will be ruin no matter what-when you peel them all off, so i suggest you get some sally hansen nail treatment that'll make your nails harder and stronger! i hope this helps! good luck and have a good day!

Soak them in pure acetone for at least 10 minutes, you can buy it where you buy nail polish remover, try to take them off, if they won't come off, soak a little longer. Be patient it takes a long time and if you try to pull too soon it hurts really bad.
