A Israelite is a descendant of the scriptural patriarch Jacob. Jacob was the Grandson of Abraham and the son of Isaac. Jacob had 12 sons these sons were the progenitors of the 12 tribes of Israel. Jacob name was changed to Israel (Yisrael) in Genesis 32:28 and his descendants were called Israelites which denotes they are The children of Jacob or The Children of Israel. The Suffix ITE means a descent from, ISRAEL-ITE means a descendant of Jacob who's name was changed to Israel.
A Jew is a person who practice the religion of Judaism. Jew does not mean a descendant of ancient Israel. The ancient Hebrews were not called Jews, that is a mistranslation, Jew is not a Hebrew Word, it's english. Jew is a word that was created by Gentiles and given to the Israelite tribe of Yahudah (Judah). Yah the Most High didn't give his people the name of Jew, this was done by men. Jew is not in the 1611 KJV of the bible. The ancient Hebrew Israelites were not Jews neither are their descendants.

Well that question is quite complicated. It depends on what you believe about the Bible (assuming you believe it) and how you see God's covenant. Most Christians believe that in the New Testament (NT), Christ established a NEW covenant with the Gentiles, making them ALSO benefactors of salvation. They believe the Jews are in fact God's chosen ones.
However, I believe that God has kept the same covenant throughout, but when Christ came, he preached to the Gentiles, switching the Chosen people to us, the Christians of this day.

That depends on which version of "God's word" if any you believe. Personally, being a Christian I believe the Jews will be saved along with all Christians - true Christians anyways.

Not Jews, Isrealies or people who can trace their heritage to them. If a chrisian becomes jewish tomorrw is does not make him/her part of God's chosen people. God chose the jews first to reveal his existence to (hence the start of monotheism) They just missed his second revelation (jesus) but we love them anyway

All in ones own belief. I love all of the religions and how there beliefs are structured. They all are very interesting. Read up and learn of all the religions and you will see why we all are.

omg, belifies are YOURS, if you want to belive anything you here in church or anywhere go ahead. if you belive in god thats personal choice and your personal belife and unless god comes down and say he chose the jews what evidence do you have for that, so decide what YOUR god would do.
