when should u have sex before ovulation happens or the day of.... i know have intercourse every other day..but when to actually start?

The most fertile period is 2-3 days before ovulation. The sperm can live inside your body for 24-48 hours. So you should be having sex starting 4-5 days before ovulation and until 1 day after ovulation. This gives you the best window for likely conception.

Start 4 days before you ovulate and go until 24 hours later, since sperm lives for a few days.

three days before you ovulate up to 48 hours after. sperm live about 72 hours and a egg about 48. Good luck!
