I recently had a duplicate key made for the entrance door of my house. My original house key and the duplicate key look exactly the same. The duplicate key fits perfectly into the lock, but it won't turn. Do you know the problem? Thanks!

I think a problem was made during the duplication. Looks the same might not mean they are the same. Only other think I could thing of is the material the duplicate key was made out of but that's unlikely.

Yeah. This happens all the time with duplicate keys. Just take it back.

Take it back and have them cut another one. It could have slipped just a little and that could make all the difference.
