brand new razor v3i - how many hours do i have to charge it first b4 using?

ive been charging for 3 hrs now and it says battery complete. does this mean its OK for me to use it or do i have to charge it 14 hrs initially first so the battery will last longer?

Battery life will shorten with every charge and usage.

Better to go for 8 hours though some may advise 4 hours. Try not to use the phone during 1st charge
