I figured it meant 'new conservative'. Didn't realize neocons started out as Democrats. Interesting.

Yeah, and that is because of one issue, Israel. The Jewish people, not all, lost their nerve after the talks fill apart at the end of the Clinton administration. They starting complaining and sloganeering with the song, "We have no legitimate bargaining partner!" So they attacked the Gaza Strip, destroyed Arafat's Compound and tried to scare him the death by slowing destroying everything around Arafat. And they held him there for over a year until his health failed and he left to die in Paris.
Since that time, Israel has been belligerent and has caused one battle after another, and know they appear to be breaking the peace with Lebanon again.
The Jewish people have got to calm down and stop driving other folks into the notion of accepted a constant war in the Middle East.
The Problem is that the Republicans have supported and even joining Israel in their aggression. But they, both Israel and the Republicans, are losing the war if they keep this up.
Israel must return to the peace table!

Historically, many of the neocons in fact were democrats. But the name is now used to refer to a philosophical position that is more libertarian on domestic issues than traditional/religious conservatives, but also more hawkish on foreign policy, in particular believing that with the end of the Cold War we have the opportunity to not simply be friendly with "our" dictators, but, instead, to try to topple totalitarianism whereever it is, for in the long term that leads to the most peace (because democratic liberty-respecting nations almost never go to war against one another, and almost never kill or subjugate their own people compared to totalitarian regimes).

In my opinion a neocon is one that is into the Leo strauss way of thinking and has the idea of turning america into a straussian
totalitarian state. strauss thinks that a political order can be stable only if it is united by an external threat, and following Machiavelli, he maintains that if no external threat exists, then one has to be manufactured. because mankind is intrinsically wicked, he has to be governed, strauss wrote. "Such governance can only be established, however, when men are united and they can only be united against other people." Strauss established governance is made possible through aggressive, belligerent foreign policy and perpetual war not perpetual peace is what straussians believe in. strauss neoconservative students see foreign policy as a means to fulfill a 'national destiny' as Irving Kristol defined it already in 1983 that goes far beyond the narrow confines of a myopic national security.

Wilfred Bramble got here upon as lonely and not being waiting to return to words together with his gender whilst Harry H Corbett got here upon as a sprint bit a brilliant head. do no longer understand if the two have been real, however the programme develop into very thrilling. It develop into additionally unhappy that they could no longer get any further artwork different than for Steptoe and Son.

A new-age conservative. They're disliked by both liberals and extremists (right and left wing). Basically, they're more fiscal conservatives than anything else. They tend to say little about social issues.

Well, I thought that "neocon" meant that we were fascist. I don't pay much attention to those people. They are just people who are immature and begin to call others names as they throw their temper tantrums.

It is just a liberal "talking point" and I doubt many of them know what they are talking about anyway! So no, not curious at this time...
