...your day? Today, on my way to a Job Interview, my van died right there in the road. I ran to the nearby convenience store, only to find not even one payphone. (You regulars know that I hate cell phones) I went inside to ask to use the phone...got hesitation...told them of my plight, so they let me call. Then since I just upgraded to Super Duper Gold Card Status, I called Triple A. I was told it would be about 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, they called back and said it would be three hours. Then...they called back again and said it would be one hour. After the one hour passed, they called and said it would be fifteen minutes. After thirty minutes they called and said it would be twenty minutes. Long story short...after about a dozen calls from them, (I kid you not!) I waited three hours and 15 minutes. I have been with Triple A for a few years, and have never in my life experienced worse customer service. Have you had a bad experience with Triple A?

What a way to put you in the mood for a job interview! I've had similar crap happen on the day I need to be together, chipper and showing an aura of calm to my potential employer. Like a power outage so my clothes weren't dry.....or going hiking the day before and being the clutz that I am running into a stick and getting a huge scratch down my face....oh of course there is always the monsterous zit in the middle of my forehead / nose / cheek that seems to need to make an appreance the same morning as the interview.
I've had too many problems with AAA. They do take awhile, especially during the holidays (6 hour wait during one 4th of July).
I had my car towed one time to my house and I asked if the driver could please back the car into the driveway. He said it wasn't a problem and the proceeded to run into my neighbors tree across the street. The driver wanted me to pay damages on his truck and the neighbor wanted AAA to pay damages on his tree. I told the driver sure I'd pay for the damages, but I need to take some photos of what happened for my lawyer. He left awfully quickly after that with no further complaints about me paying for his truck. The neighbor said the tree was fine he was just mad the driver was giving me so much flak.
So I don't have AAA anymore, actually I don't have a car now either. Gas is too expensive!! I just take the bus....more stories about that later.

PS My day was uneventful, worked, read a book and did laundry. Yippee?

I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad day. That sounds awful! I have never been a member of Triple A, so have never received any service from them, good or bad. I have, however, heard other people say that they were incredibly slow in response time a couple of other times.
I hope they got you all fixed up and that you have a much better day today. Whatever happened with the job interview?

Ugh...What a horrible day, Very tiring. I am not with AAA, But I have gotten bad service before. I hope that things work out for you tomorrow. If you can still get the interview I wish you all the luck in the world...

My day was fine. I have never had a problem with Triple A. I was warned about them and their service a long time ago so I never went that route.

Yes I live 8 miled from town so always carry extra rounds !!! Of AAA

Dang you really had a bad day, I would of been pissed big time. Sorry I don't have AAA so I couldn't tell you anything.

i don't have AAA..i live in the country, and town is like 15 miles..it is still neighborly here, if you breakdown, someone will give you a ride and there is no worries of them hurting ya..ahhh life in the country
