The unified field theory would have to be proved first, but since its purpose is to unify the theories of relativity, and quantum mechanics, and explain all the fundamental forces at play in the behavior of matter, we could expect it will also find a place for the metaphysical world.

No, because a Unified Field Theory is a scientific concept (or would be, if one is ever discovered), which means it would have to be consistent with observations (repeatable observations!), and it would have to make quantitative predictions that could be verified. Believers in the spirit world don't seem to abide by those restrictions on their theories.
