If you're fast great, if your not, remember Speed does not matter if you play with your brains. Pass the ball and move forward so you can receive it again. Stretch before and after the game. The rest of the world don't call it soccer. we call it football.
Only Americans call it soccer. Football is a game where played with the 'FEET', hence "FOOTBALL'. Unlike American Football, where the ball is carried with the 'HAND' (and sometimes kicked).
So, we play football. If we talk about the other football, we refer to it as american football.

"Soccer" is short for "Association football". Since the Americans call their tackling, run-to-the-other-side-of-the-line sport "football", they had to change the name of association football to "soccer". But really, it's a lot more comfortable to wear socks while playing football/soccer.

Because as Americans, we have to change the names of everything to make things that much more difficult.
We can't just call soccer football like everyone else does, or use the metric system. That would make things way too simple.

they should call it football, and call ruby/football hand ball because they use their hands more than their feet and i hate saying that im a football fan and people taking it the wrong way thinking im a ruby fan. ewww
