I find that my period comes late too--I have spent many dollars on pregnancy tests only to take them and have my period start hours later . . .
I find that after I take the colored pills I have anywhere from three to five days until my peroid starts. KNow your body. When does you period normally start? Have you been under any stress lately? Could the worries about that unprotected sex be causing you to lose sleep?
If you're worried at all, talk to your doctor.

As long as you took your pill correctly, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. It often takes up to 4 or 5 days after you finish your actual hormone pills to get your period, simply because your body has to register that the hormones are not coming anymore before starting your period. Complete the pack, and then if you still haven't had your period, you can call your doctor. However your pregnancy test already came up negative so it doesn't look like you are pregnant.

sometimes birth controll messes with your period. mine didnt come till 2 months after. I was worried to but my doctor said that it was normal birth control sometimes makes your period stop or wait. The last 5 pills are only sugar pills you dont need to take those, it is just like a pause between packs. The only way you can be pregnant with birthcontrol is if you take your pills at the wrong times..

i would call your doctor. i guess it depends. if you have been on it for a while and this is the first time it has happened, i would definately see your doc. if you have just started with the pill then it just may not be the one to suit your body. and also in that case what were you doing having unprotected sex if only just starting the pill lol. i would see your doctor.

Did you miss any pills? If you did I would make an appointment with your OB-GYN for a blood test to see if you are pregnant. The sooner you know the better. They are after all only 99% effective at preventing pregnancy

Call your doctor immediately. In the mean time (while you wait), take a home pregnancy test.
