(far short if the calmed 1,500) there were a total of 45,380 killed in motor vehicle accidents 16,257 killed in falls, 17,550 with accidental poisoning, and 3,447 in accidental drownings.

under 1 1 from firearms, 127 from motor vehicles, 16 from falls, 26 from poisonings, 63 from drowning.
for the 1-4 age group 11 from firearms, 610 from motor vehicles, 37 from falls, 31 from poisonings, 454 from drowning.
for 5-14, 48from firearms, 1,614 from motor vehicles, 42 from falls, 43 from poisonings, 321 from drowning.
for 15-24, 210 from firearms, 11,459 from motor vehicles, 247 from falls, 1,679 from poisonings, 629 from drowning.
in violent crimes guns are used in 7.2% of them. most violent crime is committed with out weapons, 70.3% is.

Guns don't kill people. People use guns to kill other people.
Miss handling, carelessness, improper storage where kids can get at them, etc. are what kill.
If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
Guns are not difficult to make, neither is the various kinds of gunpowder and detonators.
In the Vietnam war, some of the Vietnamese made shotguns from pieces of pipe. Not very sophisticated, but effective.
