First thing in the morning.... You hold yourself with pride, ready to face the day. By the end of the day you have shouldered the weight of the weary way of life that we lead... and become slouched and discouraged.
Purely hypothetical, of course, cos every day is a wonderful day.... Just reflecting the fact that we need to enjoy life, not get caught up in the monotonous way of life that we seem to be living. lIVElife AS YOU WISH TO LIVE IT, stand tall every day, every hour, every minute.
Work to live, not live to work. Go make it happen. Anything is possible.

You're taller first thing in the morning; unless, of course, you sleep standing up...

If you are up and about during the day and sleep lying down during the night, you are slightly shorter at night.
Lying down allows the cartilage, which forms the discs between your vertebrae to expand to their full size. During the day, these discs are compressed by the weight they are carrying. The difference is very slight.
