me and my girlfriend recently had unprotected sex. I know, I know, unprotected sex is risky. But honestly, it wasn't intended. we were drunk, for lack of a better word, which severely hindered our judgement. The real question lies in whether or not my girlfried has the possibility to become pregnant because we had sex a day after her menstruation cycle finished. It's been worrying me because if she does become pregnant then I wouldnt know what to do...I suppose the morning after pill would work, however, I don't know if my g/f needs parental consent since she's a minor (17) and we live in Florida. Or if she doesn't need it at all because her chances of becoming pregnant are slim.

1. Hey, I know how that you can get caught up in the moment, so what you should do is Task your girl to go on the pill so you can always be prepared (you do not need parental consent).
2. Get the morning after pill. (again, no consent)
3. She is not ovulating IF her cycle is always regular. If she has an unregular cycle, then she may not be ovulating at the typical time, which is about 2 weeks after the period.
Good luck!

First of all, it's never possible to have unprotected sex and NOT risk the possibility of getting pregnant. Always, always, always use a condom. Every trick that you may THINK works won't. Such as, pulling out beforehand, or right after her period, or using saran wrap.. none of them work and you're that much more at risk not only for a pregnancy but STDs. It's not worth it.

well actually the safest time to have unprotected sex is while the female is menstruating and 5 days after, if her cycle is normal, otherwise her chances are always high.

Actually the morning after pill is not effective after 72 hours, because by then the egg is already fertilized and on it's way to implanting in the uterus.

it is possible for a girl to get pregnant and it doesn't matter if she had her period or not. the sperm can attach themselves to the wall of the uterus and live up to a week. there is a lower risk for her to the fact of her possibly getting pregnant but the chance of her getting pregnant is still possible.

its possible, have her wait untill she gets her period or not, then go see a doctor. if she is not she needs to get on some form of birth control.
