If you--for no other reason than you are in good terms with some powerful people--were given a million dollars, a blanket pardon for anything you may do (as long as you don't kill or hurt anyone), a small army at your disposal, and only one night to do what you want to do with all of this, what would you do and why?

Seriously, why has nobody suggested conquering France??? Thats what I'd do, and eat all their pastries while I'm at it!

For that million dollars, I would shop till I drop. The balance, around 200,000, would be to charity. That blanket thing? Make peace. Army? Stop all the wars. There. I am doing this for a good cause, with a good reason.

Call in favors. Invest. Buy. Sell. Get richer. Give the small army the night off and a small bonus just because.

I would send the army home to their mothers. I would buy a Chateau in France and go on a huge shopping spree. I would invest most of the rest, pay off my family's debt. Then I would donate the remainder to charity.

I don't need the other stuff, just the million dollars. I would deposit it in my bank account and then transfer it to my brokerage account and play in the stock market.
