No you are not. However, I wouldn't like someone insulting my mom. She should have said something and stood up for her mom, so its really not your fault. Bestfriends are not suppose to get upset over little things.

You were out of line and should apologize. She her the respect she deserves. Put it this way less just say there is something about yourself that makes you self concious, you can say it but if your friend ragged on you about it that would hurt right?
Just apologize and show her that her feelings matter more to you than your need to make negative statements.

Thats none of your business if she doesn't stand up to her mom,

well even if she was speaking bad about her mother or is there was something you didnt agree with remember blood is thicker than water.talk to her and explain why you said it there must have been a reason right?im sure you like her mother but that doenst mean you have to agree with what was done or said.if she wont talk to u then write her an email and explain shell forgive u but be careful next time

Are you kidding me....I would be pissed off too. Be the bigger person and go to her and tell her that you're sorry. That is HER MOTHER. No matter what her mother does, that doesnt give you the right to say something about her.....apologize. YOU were wrong.

well i think that might hav hurt her feelings i meen come on she has her own mouth and if she wanted 2 stand up 4 herself then she wouldve.... she dont need u 2 do it 4 her, trust me my friend said that about my mom and i got really mad even tho it was tru that my mom was lame but so wat i was still offended i meen it is my mom
