I feel I'm at a "standstill". I've worked all kinds of nursing through the years and have a couple of favorites. Where I am now is a good job with GREAT benefits. However; I'm feeling bored and uncaring many times. Should I stay for the benefits? Or move on?

Where I live the only nurses that are caring and considerate are the ones in the icu/ccu, at our local hospital.
It was not until my mother became ill and passed away that I actually saw a good nurse here!
I have been in and out of the hospital quite a bit over the past 6 yrs, and had just gotten accustomed to the ill-mannered, curt, and just flat out grumpy nurses.
I just think that you have to like what you do to be good at it.
