Frankly, I doubt that Tom was fired due to ties with Scientology because most of Hollywood are with the Church Of Scientology.
More or less, he probably had a falling out with the the head of Paramount and this happens sometimes in the biz. Tom will be find and find another film company to sign with hopefully.

His personal beliefs about Scientology and allegedly being gay aren't good reasons to have his partnership with Paramount end BUT...
Jumping around like a hyperactive 8 year old on Oprah. Getting in Matt Lauer's face about Scientology. Wailing on Brooke Shields for her post partum depression and somehow managing to insult everyone in the field of psychiatry and psychology. He's full of himself and it shows.

For trying to force his opinion, and losing popularity, thus losing $$.
His stance on Post Partum depression, as well as his comments to Oprah and Matt lauher were way to one-sided. he showed a huge lack of respect for anyone that does not follow his religion's teachings.
He should have just kept his mouth shut, and made movies.
Either that, or get out of movies and go into religous teachings, but not both,.it doesn't work. This actor should keep their opinions to himselve. The $$ made by him is for a fantasy world that we need to visualize. we don't need his opinions. We aren't personal friends that should value his thoughts like they wish we did. we just paid to see him perform.
I do not believe that rumors of being gay had any type of effect on his career. I truly couldn't care lessabout that. What Hollywood person has a problem with that?
Even if it was true, he would gain votes in the gay population and with women, so it wouldn't be a loss.

My mom says , " It's a Hollywood well kept secret that Tom
Cruise is GAY "!! I'm like,"Mom....who told you ?.., so you get
all the insider information on famous people now huh"?.......lol
The thing is, I told her I love Kevin Spacey...then she said HE'S
GAY too !! I didn't want to believe it. I was pissed she said that.
Now I recently read in a mag that he is in fact gay....and lives in
London. I wonder why ?.....Oh well, I hate it when my mothers
right!!!!! lol

Yes, hes part of the Wack Pack now and business people know its time to walk away from the once mega-making money machine we know as Tom. He might start his own company, hard to say, but I can tell you Katie Holmes wont be seen much in the media anymore, her fate is sealed. If she ever leaves him though, she will gain much more stardom than she has ever had.

he was fired because in an interview he made up all this stuff about scientologists and then sarcastically said he eats placenta and he was like jumping on a couch during the interview and they said his conduct wasnt tolerable..
