I have to think of myself as a reporter for People Magazine or MTV and create a sample yearbook page reflecting the best movies or music for 2006!
Any ideas?
Maybe singers movies?anything?

Well, get both the lay view. Talk to the students.
Then get the critical review. Does the school newspaper have a movie or music reviwer.
Or get the professionals and make a list of what Ebert says and then ask the students how they fell about them.
There's going to be a dig difference between high school students the professional reviewers. Ebert looks for the best movie while your students look for the one the liked the best.
Be funny if it were Snakes on Planes, wouldn't it!
YOu can almost beat no one on campus saw or gives high marks to that Gay Western, can't think of the title (Borker Back Mountain or something like that). Probably few saw the one about the Hijacked airplane, both of which got high marks by the critics.
So, establish a list by the best critics around for both movies and music and then ask the kids
See who votes for what and if the choice isn't there let them fill it in.
Then maybe give it side by side
Top movies Popular vote at school Critics say
Remember the critics like things from Sundance and students almost never go to see those!

Well in singers there are Panic at the Disco and others
Movies: Garfield 2, Superman 2, Scary Movie 4 alot sequels LOL
Actors: TOM CRUISE (did you say it had to be good actors)
I was named Most Memorable Senior of 2005 for my school Im on page 60 of the cats out of the bag LAME NAME for yearbook huh
