First off, it's nice to see someone my age who isn't out every night getting drunk or having sex just because "everyone" does it! I've felt the way you have many times too. Just keep your head up and ignore the negativity because in the end, YOU will be the better person, actually having done something with your life.

I know how you feel, NOT. I am a responsible teen, who can spell, does not bring up the same thing over and over again, and people can trust. Besides why would I want to have a stupid hotel party? Maybe you are part of the reason teens are being stereotyped, Have you ever thought of that? Instead of having a party at a hotel you guys should get together and work on each others grammar and spelling. Trust me, I've read your other questions and you need help. Maybe that's part of your problem. People like smart teens, and adults for that matter. And one more thing, stop worrying about what other people think about you. If you know what you're doing then go for it.

i hear ya!! I am a well behaved teenager, but it is that "teen" stereotype. If you are a teenager, it automatically means that you are going to get into trouble. And it prevents me from being able to do the things that i want. My parents wouldn't let me have a party at a hotel because she would think i would do something wrong. But i'm not the kind of girl that would do that. And the kind of girl that would, would sneak out behind her parents back and go anyway. So i don't see the point in my mom telling me that i can't go to or have a party in a hotel.

Because that is what other teens do.
If you going to have a mature responsible party, then have fun! Just ignore the criticism.
Just don't give any reason at the party and those who you invite need to also know to be mature about it.

#1. don't worry about what other people think...it does not matter. #2. Conduct yourself properly, and treat others how you want to be treated. Treat people with respect and they will treat you the same. A lot of teens think it is their right to act like a brat, and they should instead be trying to set an example for others
