If you have a blood bank near you they have great jobs for high school kids for a few hours in the evening. They pay more then most afterschool jobs, and you usually do not work weekends, and your off work by eight. There is lots of room for advancement.

Have you talked to your counselor about the work study program most high schools have?
They will only place you in a job where they trust the company/owner. Often the position you have leads to more opportunties within the company.
If you can't leave school early to go to work, consider finding something close to your school or close to home. Don't just go out and find a job. You'll spend less time in your car and won't burn up gas.
Be very honest when you apply about your hours - remember, being a high school student is full-time job in itself - you're there to get an education to help you for the rest of your life.
Good luck....

Depending on where you live and if you like animals or not..Here are some cool jobs. Some of these could also turn into internships and be useful after school/college. I am thinking of jobs that will be part-time
Do you like animals? Pet Groomer-Dog walker- Pet Store Clerk- Pet Sitter
Are you a smooth talker? Telemarketer
Do you like video games? What about a gaming store
Good luck with your search.

I always had an afterschool job in a deli (my dad's) and that led to a very lucrative career in foodservice. I suggest to go anywhere that involves food because when you go away to college, you'll always have something to fall back on for work. People everywhere have to eat.

Your too youthful, to discover a real activity you are going to be able to desire to a minimum of be sixteen or 18. they do unlike hiring center college little ones becuase loss of adventure and talents. you do no longer pick a activity. try babysitting or asking your dad and mom for further chores.
