You need the filters on all lines that you have telephones on. If you don't believe it, try using a phone while you are using the computer without a filter.

You should NEVER use 2 routers on the same connection, they conflict. It causes double firewall and routing issues. It will also slow the connection. The correct way is to connect the dsl filter to the line. Then your best performance will be if you buy a proper dsl wireless router/modem to replace the other router. This should connect to the filter, and ALL machines connect to the router either wired or wireless. You then only present one firewall and can easily adjust the ports for anything. You also only have 1 routing delay.

If your internet is still coming into your home/office by means of a phone jack, then you do need the filter. The filter really doesn't do much for the modem - it's really there to allow you to use your phone when there's a DSL signal on the same line. The filter separates out the two signals, so that the phone gets the one it needs; that's what allows you to call out even though you're online.

The "wired" or "wireless" part refers to the connection between the modem and the PC. It has nothing to do with the connection between your modem and your phone line, which hasn't changed.
You need the filters on each phone in your house still, so that the modem communication on your phone line doesn't interfere with your call (and vice versa).

Yes, it is highly recommended. Afterall the wireless modem is connected to the wall via wire. Alternatively, the phone company can come in to your house and install a filter into the wall.

Yes, you still need the filters. The wireless is for the internal connectivity, i.e. within your house. You still need the wired DSL with the filters to connect to your Service Provider and the Internet.

i suppose not, however your wireless modem would still need to be connected to the phone line, so you might want to confirm it again
