Your clutch cylinder has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
May as well replace the friction plate and throw-out bearing while they're in there. Otherwise, those will be going out on you shortly and you'll have the additional labor charges.

Hydraulic operated clutches WILL stay on the floor if there is air in the system or the master or slave is leaking. I have owned several Isuzu vehicles with hydraulic actuated clutches and HAVE had them stay on the floor until you manually pull them up. After a certain point in the travel of the pedal, the spring isn't strong enough to return the pedal without pressure on the clutch master. Good luck !

My money's on Dodge Man. It's either failure of the master or slave clutch cylinder or possibly a break in the hydraulic line. The rubber gaskets around the cylinders fail over time and usage.

It's very simple to rebuild the cylinders. You can get the kits at Autozone for about $15.

You could be out of clutch fluid, clutch needs replaced or a part of it needs replaced. Either way, it is not working and you need to take it in to the shop.

If it's a hydraulic operated clutch, somewhere is leaking internally or externally. If it's cable operated, somewhere snapped! Sometimes broken clutch pressure plate can cause that.
