what was the game show on nickelodeon called where audience members would get picked to come on stage and they would get "shrunken" backstage and it would be their head on a small puppet body...other contestants would throw pie at their face...whats the name of that show?

Actually, I think it was Weenerville, which wasn't a gameshow but it was a weird variety show. The host of the show always had his head on a puppet body....wow, this question bring back memories.

This was a show called Wienerville. It was hosted by Mark Wiener. It was an awfully weird show...I was only 10 at the time and I think it completely traumatized me.

Yup, it was Weinerville..I remember watching it when I was little and thinking it was really odd. I think it also had a dinosaur skeleton puppet thing named Boney. Boney was mean and he sang a song that went "I'm Boney, I'm Boney, leave me aloney".
