A really promising forex fund is opening to new investors for a limited time only. It is run by udachu, which has been generating about 10% a month, every month, for about a year and a half now. This is a fine example of what's possible when an investment company actually knows how to trade foreign currency.
Did you know that the volume of trade in foreign currency is, at 2 trillion, about 40 times greater than what the NYSE trades each day? Forex is do-able to those who understand trend analysis and how to bet accordingly. It moves totally independently of the larger economy, so it has nothing to do with stocks and speculation.
There are other examples of highly successful funds I could provide, - like one that's ave'd 20% a month for over 4 years! - but they are closed to new members now.
This new fund will be open for another month or two, but until Sept 5 you can enter for only $100, way less than the thousands these funds normally cost to enter.

A good short trem investment would be a CD. Go to your bank and get a list of yield rates. Chances are that the 12-18 month CD will have the highest yield. Find out about minimum deposits.
