I met my boyfriend last September, we partied together and spent every single day with eachother until the beginning of January. A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant and we continued to stay with eachother. One month later I moved in with him and we been with eachother since. Now we have had some crazy fights since living with eachother, mainly because of the stress we have with bills and an unplanned pregnancy but that stopped about a month ago and things have been perfect. We went grocery shopping today and got into a heated argument in public and on the ride home he said that he doesn't love me, isn't attracted to me, and has only been with me because I am pregnant. He said this once before but after the fight said he was just upset and never meant it. Now he wants me to move out once the baby is here and after I go back to work since I don't know anybody here or have any family. Before he left for work he said he wasn't really sure if he wanted me to move now. What do I do?

Also, I don't have any friends here yet that I can stay with, no family, and every penny I had or get has gone to the bills and stuff for the baby. I have no resources to leave.

I am so sorry to hear about this painful situation that you are in. Isn't it awful that your partner has turned into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Late pregnancy is such a stressful time anyway for a woman, without getting any extra emotional turbulence from your baby's father.
Look in your yellow pages, find the number of a Crisis Pregnancy Center. Most are staffed with volunteers who will be happy to discuss your situation and talk about your options.
You need more help than an on-line answer page can give you at this difficult time in your life. If you can't find your Crisis Pregnancy Center, send me a note and I will try to help you find one.
The last note I'll say is this: This is a storm, and all storms pass. You will get through this and see your way clear on the other side. Best of love to you and your baby.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds to me like your bf is confused and scared (probably feeling the same things you are feeling) but he's having a hard time expressing those feelings. A pregnancy is always hard, especially if it wasn't planned. Perhaps you could sit down and talk about your feelings and express that you're also feeling the same way as he is and if that doesn't help, maybe some cpls counseling or a support group for parents to be. Many ppl go through this, it's not uncommon, however it's not healthy either. If you both come to the conclusion that perhaps you're better off apart, then there are resource's in place for ppl in your situation to help you get yourself on your feet. Best of luck.

I COMPLETELY get what you are going through. Sometimes men are just dumb momentarily, and say really stupid things. When my man and I get into sometimes he says things that he regrets and says he didnt mean any of it, some men just get pist and just want to piss you off or hurt you. It is lame, but that is how they can be. As for everything, I would sit him down to 'talk' but do it casually and when everything is not heated. Let him understand what you are going through. And if he really does want to split up, find out if you could just room together, not always the best situation, but because of the no family nor friends (same here, i moved away from everyone), it may be the best for everyone for awhile. Good luck.

I think you should really think about if you want to keep going though this with him if you stay. you haven't really said how you feel about him. if you two are in love. a on and off again relationship isn't any good for you or your baby. it's better to get out now then later if you two aren't in love. a baby is a big step and maybe he is just afraid of becoming a daddy too. but you really have to decide what is best for you and your baby.words hurt and maybe he should learn that ... even if he doesn't mean them.. they last a life time.

preparation is key. Be prepared to leave, if it came across his mind for you to leave once the baby is gone, no matter how hard it is..be prepared to walk out whe necessary...with ur head up for u and ur baby. Until then, try to stay calm, go with the flow and save money...start seeking plan B, just in case Plan A decides to act up again! Stay with him just to get urself stable...and not on the streets, then find someone that will love u through, rain, sleet and hail~

sounds like you two really need to put all things aside and put yourself in each others shoes...you are both very stressed about whats about to happen. I know just from experience all i can tell you is that PLAN NOW-the first 2 yrs. of a child are the worst! if you two can deal with each other and make that, then its all downhill from there--or atleast ALOT easier! you two should talk and really think about this, because you dont want to fight this bad in front of the kid!good luck :)

This man has some serious issues. What he is doing is a form of emotional domestic abuse. I would move out now, get a job, and once your child is born make sure I got child support. You deserve better and this man will only bring you and your child down. Runnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!

You need to get around friends and family that can help you when you need a place to go then dump his *** and tell him if he don't make up his mind he will lose you for good and mean it.
