my granddaughter was born in 1994. we had seen the movie about anissa's bone marrow transplant from her sister marissa. we were so inspired and loved the name anissa that my daughter named our granddaughter anissa. it would be wonderful for anissa to email anissa.

Yes, what a wonderful story that was; the parents after failing in the search for a life-saving bone marrow transplant to save their daughter Anissa (suffering from leukemia) had to conceive the child Marissa for the successful donation.
Anissa did marry Bryan Espinosa in a wonderful wedding and may have that last name now. Last known area of living is in California.

Anissa and Bryan are now divorced and have both since remarried other people.
