The UN came into existence on October 24, 1945, after the Charter had been ratified by the five permanent members of the Security Council — Republic of China, France, the Soviet Union, United Kingdom, and the United States — and by a majority of the other 46 signatories. However, as of 2006 there exist 192 United Nations member states, including virtually all internationally recognized independent nations.

All the civilised nations of the world are the member of UN except Israel, which is not considered civilised according to the civilised world standards.This nation of Israel was better off living on some other planet or moon and leave the earth alone.
