It's not good, i'll tell you that.
If you and this other guy are unhappy with the people you married, why don't the two of you sit down and speak to your spouses about why you are unahppy. Then, maybe a little communication would go a long way and each of you could work out your problems with your spouses and be happier again.
Having a sexual relationship with a married man who also claims to be unhappy isn't going to solve your problems, it will only result in new ones.
I am pretty sure you wouldn't like it if the table was turned and you were the one being cheated on.
So before you go about ruining not one but two marriages, You ought to double think this entire thing. There are other ways to solve unhappy marriages rather then to just ignore your problems to go fulfill some sexual fantasies.

How bad is it, well it is as bad as it gets. When you said "I Do" it meant exclusivity. Now ask yourself would it be ok for your partner to go out and get a little something extra on the side. My guess is the answer is probably no. The grass is never greener on the other side of the fence it just looks that way because of the septic system. So if you don't want to step into the sewer make sure you stay in your own yard.

The anwser should be simple: Put your self in the other man's wifes' shoes, then ask your self " how hurt would you be if your husband cheated on you" Yes you might be uphappy but do you still love him? If you do then ya'll should really talk things out. If ya'll find that you want out of this marriage, then you can move on. But I know how it feels to have been cheated on and it hurts like hell! If you want someone else, wait til you divorce.
The pain from an affair is something no person should have to feel.

my husband cheated on me with my cousin who is married. I discovered this about 3 months ago. The affair lasted for 8 mos. The outcome was terrible. It effected so many lives. 1. My marriage...will NEVER BE THE SAME!! My relationship with my cousin is completely over. Our kids who were growing up together will NEVER SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN. That's the lite side of the story. The bad is, her husband was looking for my husband to kill him, he said even if my kids "our kids" is in the way of the bullet OH WELL. I pressed charges on my cousin for harrasment and terrist threat (meaning, verbally or fear that another person will cause you great harm or death) and she lost her job. My husband threatned to hurt me for telling her husband. Far as that side of my family, which is my moms side, I have nothing to do with them ever. Don't look at what you want, look at what you need, happiness. Is a quick 2 min f*ck worth you loosing it all. Your husband will find out, because women have intuitions and if we are hurt......everyone will know why!! For you it's the sex, for the outsiders, it's the principle. Why would you want to put so much pain on another wife. Us wives should be working together not against one another. Whatever you do to cause pain, it will come back on you 10 fold. "God don't like ugly....h*ll he aint to fond of pretty. So if fulfilling a 5%void is worth loosing 95% of happiness, then go ahead!! more power to you
good luck

Why not just leave your spouses that would be a better idea. If you both are so unhappy with your wife/husband why would you just want a fling on the side. That is a very hurtful thing to do to your spouse especially after you said you promised to love them for the rest of your life.

This was on Oprah today and Dr. Robin said something that I think applies here. Basically, she said that someone should be offended if a married person thinks that they have the right to say personal, private, sexual, or sensual things to you. Under NO circumstances is it okay to have an affair with a married man. Nothing good can come from it.

Something extra? Why don't you look for that "something extra" in your marriage. If you're unhappy then get a divorce. It's never a good thing to cheat on your spouse for whatever reason.

If you don't want to leave your marriage then why do you need something extra? You made vows to each other and it kills me that no one respects the vows they made anymore. Do you think your husband would think it's not that bad? Or the wife, you could be helping to further destroy her marriage and possibly their kids lives if any are involved. I don't know all of the facts of course, just think about everyone involved, not just your sexual needs.

whats the point of your marriage if you aren't committed to each other. it's not a marriage if you go out and make a relationship with another man. if you need someone else go to the court tomorrow and get your divorce papers.

The risk is that the spouses might discover your relationship and get hurt. Then it might not be your decision whether to leave the marriage anymore. They just might kick you out. You must decide whether it's worth the risk.
