You're "facts" are incorrect.

1. Bush didn't ignore the problem of Bin Laden any more than Clinton did. And at leat Bush had the guts to stand up and do something when Bin Laden DID attack. Clinton might have ordered a few cruise missiles launched and called it even.

2. Bush hasn't stopped looking for Bin Laden. We're still very actively pursuing him.

3. Just because Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 doesn't mean they had nothing to do with Al Quaida. Iraq has wanted to see us attacked for a very long time. They were harboring, training, and funding terrorists. After 9/11, it became clear that it was necessary to chase Al Quaida anywhere and everywhere they went, including Iraq.

4. Make no mistake, this is WWIII. And we're still at war. Not just in Iraq, but Afghanistan, and more covertly in many other corners of the world. And this is a war we can't afford to lose. And we can't afford to quit. If we do, the terrorists come after us.

5. If you hate Bush, hate him for being dishonest and insincere. Maybe even corrupt, if you can find evidence. But don't use this war as a political tool. It's far too important for that.

Well actually, it is well documented that several higher ups in Saddam's military had regular contact and meetings with Bin Laden. Also, there was a money trail that lead from Saddam to Bin Laden. AND on several occasions, Saddam gave Bin Laden protection and aloud him to stay in Iraq.

But, back to your question. If Clinton had all this knowledge about Bin Laden, why didn't he try to do something about it? Don't give me, he did. What Clinton did was a lame attempt to divert the medias attention from his trial.
Why lay it in the lap of the next Pres.? Ya know why, because he didn't have the b*lls to go through what Bush is with the miss information media and the Dems.

Oh, I forgot, Clinton was offered Bin Ladens head on a platter several times but politely refused. Again IF Clinton did have all this information, why would he turn down the offer of Bin Laden?

President Clinton had an intelligence team that broke up 3 big terror plots (Seattle, LAX, and the 10 747's over the ocean plot) and one of Bush's FIRST acts after the crooked Republican judges on the supreme court stole the presidency for him was to break up that team. When Bush got the intelligence report you are talking about was Aug. 5, 2001. He went on vacation for a month starting the next day. It has never been established whether he even opened it, much less read anything in it. And why did he invade Iraq? We all know its the oil.

Because he doesn't care. He's all politics and no policy. He didn't want to be bothered with the memo. He abandoned the hunt for OBL a year ago, is running out the clock on Iraq until Jan 2009, and hasn't mentioned the Anthrax Attacks in about 5 years.

Oh, and that story about Clinton being offered OBL is a lie. The Sudan never had him to offer up. Repeating it a lot on talk radio and Fox News doesn't make it true.

Bill Clinton left the country?
19 UN resolutions child.
And what is that memo that Bill left?
Is this from CNN? or Al Jazeera?
I have not seen it... have you?
Maybe it was in one of the refrigerators that were left unplugged, or under the trash cans that were overturned.
What is worse is that Republicans are turning into Democrats.
And Osama?
The best thing to do is kill him and bury him unremarked.
What we don't need is a billion idiots screaming martyr.

Neddie, what it is the, repuglican blame game. They play and love to blame Bill Clinton for everything when in fact Bush was in office for 9 months when the WTC was attacked. He gets intelligence updates every day and I am sure he knew of the dangers. But you are wrong on Bin Laden being the number one terrorist in the world, that would be your president as he has much more resources and is using them for ill intent, or personal gain, which ever you prefer

Why did Clinton not do more than just write a memo? Why didn't he stop them after all it was during his administration that Arabs were signing up and taking flying lessons but were not interested in learning to land. Some Lower level FBI agents tried to bring it to the attention of the higher ups but were ignored.

I guess he just couldn't take it seriously. I mean, Clinton's staff removed all the W's from every keyboard in the White House. Bill Clinton looked into the camera (and into the eyes of every American) and lied about Monica. He gave arms away to countries that are against us. Why would anything they had to say be taken seriously, and why are you & so many others so blind?
